The average yearly visibility is 12m and can get as good as 40m. There are no rivers running into the sea in this area and the sea remains clear with diving possibilities all year round. Rather than a continuous coral reef, separate reefs go by names derived from their distance from the shore – One Mile, Two Mile, Seven Mile, etc. All are accessible by Zodiac from Jesser Point.
