I wanted to share 2 incorporations we are going to include in our Market as well, LiveWell Ventures will be implementing and providing a place to network from, for our ‘Friends Indeed’ Community Network; A Service and Food Swap, Donation and Trade-Center on Camano Island for the Camano Stanwood Community.
We are looking for volunteers to assist our program being initiated;
Do you have a service, or food to share? Or a personal need of your own, but cash required just seems to be illusive? The blessing of this challenging time is that folks are coming together, linking arms, sharing talents and time, and many are asking for help when they are not accustomed to doing so. We support the universal perception that ‘a friend in need, is a friend indeed’, and are providing a place for coming together starting 9May at our Saturday Market next to Camano Plaza, on the north end of the Island off East Camano Drive.
We are asking for volunteers who will help network needs and optimize and assist those hoping to improve their lifestyle by either offering assistance for implementing and connecting folks or by offering or asking for services, food or clothes for sharing. This will be a venue to ask for assistance and supplements, for quality of life issues that may be compromised. We will have a service and swap location at our Saturday LiveWell Market for discreetly offering and requesting personal interests, talents or supplemental needs with respect to your privacy
and personal best interest. Come support your neighbors, or ask for
assistance, and we will all discover just how wonderful reconnecting with our community can be! Looking forward to shaking hands with you opening day May 9th, please come and support your local businesses, artists and homeowners, with items for sale or creative trade.
LiveWell Ventures Inc. will offer also a dedicated area for a Youth & Senior Reconnection Art Project, nicknamed Youth-RAP, to promote lifestyle enhancing art education that combines all ages for art lessons with local talents for $5 minimum donations, at 2 options/sessions each Saturday from 10AM-12Noon and again with alternate artist 1PM to 3PM.
We are interested in supporting our local artists by providing a free venue at the Market to display their art and recruit consignments and students, in exchange for 2 hours of instruction. Materials for the proposed projects might be offered for sale, or will be suggested the week in advance for folks to better prepare to participate the next Saturday. Bobbie Samples will be assisting the launch of this effort as the first featured artist 9May, she is a longstanding and respected local Camano watercolor artist, teacher and event manager, in the Island and Snohomish counties. We are looking to enlist local artists each week who wish to work symbiotically with the community- we offer a new way of enterprising, by providing a place to display their talents for hire, art for sale, and informal and fun lessons/sharing of their art form with no booth expense as an opportunity for earning income and getting public visibility and support of their craft.

We are recruiting help and donations needed for the market, and we would love to touch base with the middle and high schools for participation with the students over the summer too~ I am very keen on having a public athletic/activity center for kids and adults to be together, and maybe we can get that wheel moving again over the summer at our venue.
