LiveWell Ventures Travel Services is Eco-Friendly

Here at LiveWell Ventures, we try to do our best to preserve our natural habitat. Helping our habitat allows us to continue to enjoy the great outdoors and it makes life on earth a little better!

Many people think they can't make a difference, so why bother! We here at LiveWell Ventures know that one person can make a difference. Every member of LiveWell Ventures does what they can to help the environment.

Mindy, one of our Marketing/Travel Consultants, telecommutes every day that she can. Instead of driving to the office, we have the ability to allow some of our employees to work from home at their computer as if they were right in the office. This allows her to save money on gas and emissions in the environment, by minimizing the amount of commuting by car she needs to do.

Bonnie, one of our Travel Consultant/Eco-Cultural Specialists, also telecommutes a few times a week to conserve on fuel. In addition to telecommuting, LiveWell Ventures has a guest house that Bonnie stays in, as another way to eliminate the long commute she has to make to get to the office.

Not only do our employees make changes and commitments to their daily routines to help conserve the environment but LiveWell Ventures itself is eco-friendly. The LiveWell Ventures site has recently been certified as a National Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. Also, our building is a renovated barn to conserve the environment further, by eliminating the need and use of new building material.

It is the everyday little things that people do, that help make our environment cleaner and more efficient. Another thing we do here at LiveWell Ventures, is grow our own organic food and beef for our family and the office. As an office we dedicate a certain time to lunch, so that we can all eat at the same time. We eat the organic food that we produce; we also use reusable containers like house plates, to further reduce the use of wasted plastics and paper that are used in a bagged lunch.
