The good news for me, and others like me, is that going green in travel doesn’t have to mean completely changing your travel style or giving up your wanderlust all together. A few simple things can make a big difference.

Although we at Live Well Ventures are all about getting away, we also maintain a passionate interest in what can be done between trips to promote sustainable living.  UK's National Business Travel network (NBTN)1, part of the government's ACT on CO2 campaign, is urging business to implement what it calls "smart travel plans" for staff, in order to cut costs and reduce carbon emissions.  While latest figures state that only 62% of UK companies help their employees in travelling sustainably to work, the need to reduce costly travel can aid companies in coping in these tough economic times.
