Island Info:
Dhoni Island is in the Maldives. The Maldives is an independent republic in the Indian Ocean with some 1200 palm-fringed islands shining in turquoise lagoons like a necklace of gems draped across the Equator.

Dhoni Island is a stunningly beautiful island, small and intimate, just 164m x 96m in size located in North Ari Atoll.

•A shell-strewn beach of fine white sand, lapped by the tranquil waters of an azure lagoon, encircles the tiny island.
•The vegetation is lushly tropical with coconut palms and vibrant undergrowth left as nature intended, with a wealth of bird life.
•Completely private and secure; no unauthorized visitors and completely paparazzi- proof
•Never more than 12 guests at a time
•Guest accommodation includes a private liveaboard boat (dhoni) as well as in an individual villa (an island lodge) on shore
•Gourmet cuisine created for individual guests dietary desires
•The only island that can be booked in its entirety for exclusive use
•The executive Chef will consult you about your preferences and personally prepare all your meals and recommend especially selected superb wines. He is an expert in the best of the world’s cuisines.
•Your Thakuru is a tropical island butler (one for each couple) who acts as your personal attendant throughout your stay, taking care of (whether on the island or your Dhoni), accompanying you wherever you want to go and responding to your every request.
•The captain of your Dhoni has an intimate knowledge of local waters. He is helped by a crew of two, an experienced junior captain and a deck hand.

Island Lodges (1640 sqft)
Dhoni Island has six Island Lodges for guests who want to sleep onshore. The island lodges are secluded in glades amidst lush vegetation beside brilliant white sand beach, only a few paces from the inviting blue of the lagoon. Surrounded by the tropical flowers and plants, each Island Lodge is detached and completely private. Each has a bathroom en suite with bathtub and hand-shower, and an open air extension to a garden with a waterfall shower. Four of our Island Lodges have a private garden courtyard with a freshwater plunge pool.

The roof is covered in traditional palm leaf thatch, helping it blend in with the environment; white inside the ceiling is made of locally woven reed matting. The bedroom and lounge area are floored with polished timber, complemented by stylish, robust wood.
